Dr. Sören Gröttrup studied mathematics and computer science with focus on probability theory and statistics. He got his Ph.D. from the Univerity of Münster for his research on stochastical population models, describing the behavior of parasite invected cells. Parallel to his doctoral studies, he worked in the area of leukemia research as a data analyst on genomic data sets at the Institute of Medical Informatics at the University Hospital Münster. Today, he is a data scientist and statistician with experience a variety of industries and fields. For many years, he worked in the airline and data-driven marketing sector, and is now consulting companies in digitalization and machine learning projects.
